The 49,900 dwt methanol-ready product carriers costing $45m each are due for delivery in February and May of 2027.
The newbuilds have been linked to a charter with the tanker business of the Chinese state-run Shandong Shipping and Sinopec Fuel Oil Sales products network.
Last year, the Chinese leasing house also signed up for a pair of 175,000 cum LNG ships at Jiangnan Shipyard delivering in March and July 2027 into a 15-year bareboat charter to Shandong Marine Energy.
