Greek owner Veritas Shipmanagement has ordered two kamsarmax bulk carriers at Chinese shipyard Hengli Heavy Industries in Dalian.

The outfit based in the seaside Athens suburb of Vouliagmeni is paying $38m to see the 82，000 dwt duo delivered in 2026， according to one Greek broker.

Veritas is listed on VesselsValue with five bulkers and one small tanker.

The reborn yard， formerly known as STX Dalian， has seen several orders for bulker newbuilds come in from Greek owners since its return to shipbuilding in late 2022， including George Procopiou’s Sea Traders and Laskaridis Maritime， the Athens-based dry bulk shipping arm of the Alimia Group.
