China-based Winning Shipping has purchased two Capesize bulk carriers from South Korea's shipping company Dong-A Tanker (DAT), showed data from VesselsValue.
The vessels in question are the 179,600dwt Dong-A Leto and the 179,200dwt Dong-A Ether. They were bought for US$21.85m and US$24.65m, respectively.
Market value of Dong-A Leto currently stands at US$19.84m and of Dong-A Ether at US$22.64m, according to VesselsValue's data.
The two bulkers were built at South Korean Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries' shipyard in 2010 and 2011.
