After a dreadful 2016, South Korean yards have won more orders in the first 10 days of 2017 than it did in the whole of the first quarter last year. The latest order comes from Greece with Pleiades Shipping reported by brokers as in for two firm plus two option 50,000dwt product tankers at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard. The ships due for delivery in 2018 are costing US$33.5m each.
