Just a few days after being linked with the purchase of medium range tanker Poulopom from Vietnam's Prime Shipping, sources said that the Indonesian owner is taking over a piece of the BP Shipping fleet.
Medium ranger tanker pair, the 37,220dwt British Esteem and British Explorer, have been snapped up by Soechi for US$10.3m each.
The 2003-built pair have been circulated for sale by BP Shipping for quite some time, and their profile match that of the 15 year old Poulopop acquisition the company was linked with earlier in the week.
Soechi Lines owns around forty tankers including chemical tankers and gas carriers.
