Norwegian ship owner Ocean Yield ASA has received a 115,000dwt LR2 product tanker Navig8 Supreme from South Korea's Sungdong shipyard.
After being delivered from the shipyard, the vessel commenced a 13-year "hell and high water" bareboat charter to Navig8 Product Tankers Inc.
This is the final vessel delivered in a series of a total of four product tankers that will be chartered to Navig8 Product Tankers Inc.
The first LR2 tanker, Navig8 Symphony, was delivered in February, followed by the second newbuild Navig8 Sanctity in March, while the third tanker Navig8 Steadfast joined its owner in May.
All three tankers went on a 13-year "hell and high water" bareboat charter to Navig8 immediately after the delivery.
In the third quarter, Ocean Yield has taken delivery of four vessels, in addition to completion of the modification of Aker Wayfarer.
