South Korea-based Dong A Tanker has sold two of its newly delivered MR product tankers to Greek buyers for US$69.6m in total, which includes the ships' respective timecharter contracts.
Brokers said that the buyer is likely to be Vardinoyannis-controlled Avin International.

Both tankers have been timechartered to an unnamed counterparty for five years at US$15,500 per day, plus an option for a one-year extension period at US$16,000 daily and a further year at US$16,500 per day.
