The Angelicoussis Group has ordered another two Suezmax tankers at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME).
DSME said May 18 that Angelicoussis had ordered two 156,000dwt tankers, adding to its outstanding orders at South Korea's third-biggest shipyard.
The contract was inked in Athens, just a month after Angelicoussis ordered two 319,000dwt VLCCs at DSME.
IHS Maritime's Sea-web.com data show the Greek company already has six VLCCs and four Suezmax tankers on order at DSME.
The ships, to be built in DSME's Okpo yard in Korea, will measure 274m in length, 48m in width, and 23.7m in depth.
DSME said that with the two new orders, Angelicoussis has ordered 82 ships from it since 1994.
The latest order also takes the value of DSME's year-to-date new orders to US$1.72bn, but the yard would not unveil the value of the ships that Angelicoussis just ordered.
