The naming ceremony for the 115,000 DWT crude /product tanker “Maersk Sara” built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company (DSIC) for Maersk Tankers was held on October 26.

This series of ships is an environmentally-friendly and energy-saving product oil tanker tailored for Maersk Group built by DSIC. Besides, it is a double-bottom and double-hull vessel with 250 meters in length overall, 44 meters in width and 21.9 meters in depth with a structural draft of 15.35 meters. And it is classified into LR under the Singapore flag with a deadweight tonnage of 115,000 tonnes at a design speed of 14.5 knots.
