Ireland-based Arklow Shipping has placed an order at Ferus Smit Shipyard for four 16,500dwt bulk carriers. The delivery is scheduled for 2018 and 2019. At the same yard, the shipowner has already nine 5,085dwt general cargo vessels on order.
Upon the delivery of all the ships on order, Arklow's fleet will surpass 50 units.
