China-based Tsuneishi Group (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding Inc. has recently secured an order of two 2,700teu containership newbuildings from an anonymous Asian shipowner, according to a domestic shipping news report.
Each of the pair is valued at approximately US$64m, and the delivery is expected for the first half of 2018.
Insiders said that the vessels will be charted to South Korea's marine transportation company KMTC on a long-term basis.
