Japanese shipyard Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES) delivered a 56,000dwt type bulk carrier MV New Boundary to Panamanian New Prevail Line in a ceremony held at its Chiba Works Shipyard April 28, 2015.
This is the 10th ship of the shipbuilder's ”neo56BC” eco-ship design, capable of accommodating up to 24 persons and sailing at the speed of up to 14.4 knots.
The New Boundary is 190m in length, 32.25m in breadth, with 18.1m depth. It is equipped with low sulfur fuel oil tanks designed for operations within the Emission Control Areas (ECAs).
The vessel is classed by NK, and is designed in accordance with IACS Common Structural Rules.
