Offshore and subsea vessel owner DOF sold the platform supply vessel (PSV) Skandi Falcon (3,118dwt, built in 1990), which has been laid up since the end of 2014.
DOF, which sold the vessel via subsidiary DOF Rederi, said that delivery was scheduled by the end of April.
Mons S. Aase, DOF's CEO, said that the sale was not part of any strategy to reduce the company's fleet, rather disposing of an older vessel that was "better to sell, than to leave laid up."
DOF operates a fleet of 70 vessels at present.
