It is said that Benmark-based Evergas contracted China’s listed shipyard Yangzijiang Shipbuilding to construct two 27,000cbm liquefied gas carriers, which is the first gas carrier order secured by the shipbuilder, according to a domestic shipping news provider.
Each of the gas carriers are priced at approximately US$70m.
The delivery is scheduled for 2017.
