NileDutch, Rotterdam-based shipping company mainly engaged in cargo liner services from and to West Africa, held a naming ceremony for the second of four newbuild container ships, the 3,510teu MV NileDutch Dordrecht, at PSA Singapore Terminals.
The four newbuild container ships will be registered in the Netherlands and fly the Dutch flag.
The dimensions and deck equipment of the four new vessels are tailored to the ports they will serve in West Africa.
The ships measure 224m in length, 34.8m in beam (width), and 12.5m in draft.
The other two vessels will be delivered later this year.
The newbuilds will operate on West Africa – Far East rotation.
