Chinese shipbuilder Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard Co., Ltd. garnered an order of two 1700TEU boxships from a German owner. The two vessels are slated for delivery in 2016, according to a domestic news report.
Besides, the Chinese yard secured a newbuilding order of two 1100TEU boxships from China-based Ningbo Marine Group Co., Ltd. in September, which will be scheduled for delivery in the second quarter and third quarter of 2015.
