In the announcement on August 2nd , China Merchant Energy Shipping Co., Ltd (CMES) has disclosed that the optional orders for 2+2 VLCCs at DSIC and Waigaoqiao Shipyard finally become effective.

On February 2nd and 5th, CMES ordered three VLCCs at the Waigaoqiao Shipyard and DSIC separately, each with two optional units wich can be exercised in six months.

The contract price is revealed to be $85.0 a piece.
