Oshima Shipbuilding of Japan is said to have inked an order to build two newbuilding supramax bulkers from dACC Maritime, a joint venture between Italian shipowners d'Amico Societa di Navigazione and Coeclerici.
Industrial players said the deal has another options for two vessels for delivery in 2016, which dACC Maritime has time to decide until coming September.
The firm 60,000-dwt bulkers are to be delivered in the second half of 2015.
Japan's Sumitomo Corporation and Banchero & Costa of Italy took in charge of the deal as dealers.
Meanwhile, Oshima recently booked six 34,000-dwt Ice-class eco-friendly bulkers for Fednav of Canada through compatriot Sumitomo Corporation, with delivery slated for May-November 2015.
