Germany's Oldendorff Carriers confirmed that it has ordered four 208,000DWT eco newcastlemax bulkers at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in Korea.
This is the first capesize order in the company history.
The ships will join the owner's fleet as from end 2014 onwards.
They will be equipped with modern fuel saving devices, improved hull lines, low friction paint and trim optimizer, Oldendorff explained
