Uljanik shipyard and Jadrolinija from Rijeka signed, on March 4th, a contract for the construction of four ferries for the transportation of 600 passengers and 145 vehicles.
Each of the vessels will be 100m long, 17.5 m wide with draught 2.4 m, deadweight at maximum draught 950 tonnes and speed 12.5 knots.
The total value of the contract is € 32 mln (approx $ 41.6 mln) and the delivery terms are in the period from February until the end of April 2014.
