Turkey’s Arkas Line has extended its series of boxship orders in China.
Alphaliner is reporting the liner operator has signed for two more 4,300 teu ships at Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard, taking its tally of this newbuild type to six at the southern Chinese yard. The latest pair will deliver in 2027. No price has been revealed for the conventionally fuelled vessels.
Alphaliner lists Arkas as the world’s 33rd largest liner, with 33 ships in its fleet.
