Commodities trader Vitol has booked four LR2 tankers at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co.

Brokers suggest a price tag of around $72.5m each and higher，with delivery of the 115，000 dwt vessels starting from October 2026 through to March 2027.

The order follows Hyundai Vietnam-built 110，000 dwt LR2s，Elandra Swift and Elandra Tern，entering the fleet earlier this year.

In related LR2 newbuilding deals at Dalian，Greece’s Cape Shipping has been tied to a 115，000 dwt scrubber-fitted pair for delivery in 2026.
