Vanhui Shipping has moved to expand its dry bulk fleet with a pair of ultramaxes at Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment.

The Hong Kong-based outfit has contracted 63，500 dwt units for delivery in the first half of 2027 at an undisclosed price.

The company is listed with six bulkers， and it ordered newbuilds last time in June 2020. The 63，900 dwt units were delivered from Nantong Xiangyu last year.

Jiangsu Haitong also recently picked up ultramax orders from Franbo Lines， marking the Taiwanese bulker owner’s first newbuilding deal in China. Four ships have been booked with one early delivery in May 2025.
