On June 21, the first vessel in a series of 325,000 DWT Very Large Ore Carriers (VLOC) built by Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding for Bank of Communications Financial Leasing and South Korea Shipowner, Kmarin was named and delivered at Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding and left the shipyard for its maiden voyage at noon on the same day.
“BOKM Shanghai” is 339.9m in length, 62m in width, and 29.5m in depth.
