On January 20, “GALILEO GALILEI”, the 18,000m³ TSHD (Trailing suction hopper dredger) built by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (Dalian) Co.,Ltd. was successfully delivered.

It is an advanced TSHD in the world with 166.14m in length overall, 36m in width and 13.6m in depth at a service speed of 17.6 knots. And it is designed for the construction and maintenance of ports and waterways as well as land reclamation and coastal defense and riverbank protection.
