On November 6, self-propelled 3500 m3/h cutter suction dredger “Shang Shi 19” built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited (ZPMC) for Changjiang Waterway Bureau conducted sea trials from ZPMC Qidong Marine Engineering conducted sea trials.

It is 132.1 meters in length overall, 25.9 meters in width and 7.8 meters in depth with a maximum dredging depth of 28 meters and a minimum dredging depth of 5 meters at a speed of 12 knots. The dredging capacity is not less than 3500 m3/h. Besides, it is a self-propelled cutter suction dredger for breaking up clay, compacted soils, strong weathered rock and moderately weathering rock.
