On October 27, the naming and delivery ceremony of 23000 TEU dual-fuel containership “CMA CGM Champs Elysees” built by Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. was held for French shipowner CMA CGM.

It is reported that this behemoth is 399.9 meters in length overall and 61.3 meters in width with a capacity of 23000 TEU. It is the largest dual-fuel boxship in the world, carrying 2200 FEU containers. Besides, it can meet the strictest emission standards with a 20% reduction in carbon emission, an 85% reduction in nitrogen oxide emission and a 99% reduction in sulfur emission and also greatly reduce the environmental pollution over traditional fuel ones.
