Two VLGCs were named and one of them was delivered

On October 12th, two 84,000 cbm very large gas carriers (VLGC) built by Jiangnan Shipyard for Oriental Energy were named Keegan No.1 and Keegan No.2 respectively. After that, the delivery ceremony of the former vessel was held on the same day.


It is the second-generation VLGC ( Panda 84P) developed independently by Jiangnan Shipyard. It features 230 meters in length, 36.6 meters in width, 22.2 meters in depth. Besides, this giant has the design draft of 11.4 meters and the scantling draft of 12.0 meters with the cargo capacity of 8400 cbm, meeting the new IGC Code and Tier III emission standards. It is classified into LR under the flag of Singapore.
